WEYMOUTH – Torrey Bird Sanctuary

Located right behind Weymouth High School, this hidden trail features plenty of parking, varied terrain and interest level, and is just the right length for the whole family.

When you enter the high school parking lot, go around the building to the left. Look for the giant rock with an American flag painted on it. There’s a sign near the trailhead. Free parking during non-school hours.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION & MAP:

2.5 miles total, 1 mile loop with multiple access points. The easiest way in is to follow blue trail markings from Weymouth High School parking lot, then follow yellow trail markings to make the loop.

P – Parking & Access – 5 (During non-school hours!)

I – Interest Level – 4 (varied terrain, large rocks to climb on, etc.)

N – Navigation – 4 (well-marked trail, easy to follow, some potentially confusing areas)

T – Terrain – 3 (some fallen trees to climb over, rocks sticking up out of ground, a few steep ups/downs)
